The sensor offers reliable security features in a compact design, including automatic creation of fingerprint templates and the ability to store up to 45 unique templates securely in Flash memory. It incorporates advanced security measures, including anti-spoof functionality and secure communication protocols. The device supports multiple communication interfaces, including I2C, SPI, UART, and USB, which can be selected by adjusting configuration jumpers on the board.
The sensor’s low-profile design is complemented by a durable matte coating, and it operates at a 3.3V voltage. It includes two Qwiic connectors, a USB-C connector, and additional headers for versatile connectivity options. The device is equipped with a green scan LED and a red power LED for operational status indication.
