The Sparkfun Hobby Motor w/ Encoder – Metal Gear (DG01D-E) is a single motor equipped with a hall speed encoder, operating within a voltage range of 3-9V and featuring a gearbox ratio of 1:48. It achieves a speed of 90RPM at 4.5V. The hall sensor detects magnetic poles, outputting a high level for the South pole and a low level for the North pole.

*Note: This is a single motor; at least two are required for effective robotics projects.
